Here are some needs we often have:
Controllers
We are constantly searching for senior talent, full-time and part-time. Do you have several years of Big 4 public accounting experience? At least 10 years in private industry, preferably as a controller, internal audit manager or director, director of finance or CFO? Do you also have supervisory skills or SEC reporting experience? Those are major pluses. EEOC
SOX leads/documenters/testers
We’re looking for SOX lead consultants. Ideal candidates have 15–20 years’ accounting experience, including several years with Big 4 firms and at least 10 years in private industry. You must be able to plan and execute 404 documentation and testing; review work product for accuracy; juggle multiple engagements and timelines; help pre-public, small- to medium-size companies define controls; and remediate design deficiencies as part of 404 documentation development.
We also have openings for SOX engagement team members, both documenters and testers. You should have at least 10–15 years’ accounting experience, including several years of audit work with Big 4 firms, and private industry accounting experience. You’ll also need to be able to execute testing of controls and document test results with exceptional clarity. Experience documenting controls and remediating design deficiencies is a distinct plus. CFOs
We’re looking for chief financial officers to support our emerging growth clients. Have you spent at least 10 years in senior management? Have management and board reporting experience? The ability to make decisions on GAAP issues and multitask in a fast-paced environment? The willingness to dig into detail work when necessary? You’ll score extra points for experience with third-party relationships (investor relations, legal, banking, audit), M&A, treasury, cash management and system upgrades, as well as a CPA andor MBA. Finance business analysts
We’re looking for finance business analysts to support our growing business information services practice. Do you have hands-on expertise in business process analysis and re-engineering? Have you been a key contributor to cross-functional project teams? Do you have experience implementing ERP systems such as Great Plains, MAS500, Oracle and SAP? Are you always questioning the status quo and looking for ways to simplify and automate processes? If so, we should talk.
Nice-to-haves include experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Essbase and Brio), Microsoft Access database design and management, and a finance background—CPA and/or MBA. EEOC
